630 A distribution MCCB with MicroLogic 2.0 A
The C063H42AFM is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NS new generation 4-pole moulded-case circuit breaker rated 630 A at 50 °C, fitted with a MicroLogic 2.0 A electronic trip unit providing L (long-time overload) and I (instantaneous short-circuit) protection. Its 85 kA Icu at 220/240 V AC (70 kA at 415 V, 65 kA at 440 V, 50 kA at 500/525 V, 42 kA at 690 V) per IEC 60947-2 makes it suitable for high-fault distribution panels where the available short-circuit current is substantial. The fixed-mount, front-connection design with a 70 mm connection pitch and backplate mounting support simplifies panel layout for a 280 × 327 × 147 mm footprint.
The MicroLogic 2.0 A electronic trip unit gives adjustable long-time pickup and delay plus fixed instantaneous pickup, with a 20-minute thermal memory that prevents nuisance reclose after a hot overload. Category B utilisation means it is fully rated for selectivity with downstream breakers — the integrator can coordinate time-current curves without sacrificing upstream protection.
Fixed-mount on a backplate with front connections both top and bottom — wire entry and exit are on the same face, which simplifies busbar routing in a vertical section. IP40 enclosure protection (IK07 impact) means it is suited for indoor switchgear but not washdown environments. The LCD display and four red LEDs (fault) plus one yellow LED (overload) give local status without opening the door. Neutral is on the left in the 4-pole configuration.
