It is a 3-pole, withdrawable design, manually operated, rated 800 A at 50 °C, with an ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) of 70 kA at 380/415 V AC 50/60 Hz per IEC 60947-2.
For higher-voltage installations the rating steps down: 65 kA Icu at 440 V, 50 kA at 500/525 V, and 42 kA at 660/690 V. The rated short-time withstand (Icw) is 19.2 kA for 1 second, which matters for selective coordination downstream.
Withdrawable mounting and panel integration
This frame is withdrawable — it slides into a fixed cradle on the backplate, allowing the breaker to be racked out for maintenance or replacement without disturbing the line and load connections. The mounting support is a backplate, not a DIN rail; the connection pitch is 70 mm. Panel builders need to account for the 236 mm width and 260 mm height, plus the 147 mm depth for enclosure sizing. The front face carries Class II electrical shock protection, so no additional insulation is needed on the operator side.
What it does not include
This is a basic frame — it ships without a control unit (trip unit), without any protection settings, and without auxiliary contacts or shunt trips. The buyer must select a compatible Micrologic trip unit separately (e.g., Micrologic 2.0, 5.0, 6.0, or 7.0 series) to define the overcurrent protection and communication functions.
