The C100L4WM is a basic frame (no trip unit) in the Schneider ComPacT NS630b...1600 new generation range, rated 1000 A at 50 °C and built for distribution duty per IEC 60947-2. It is a 4-pole, withdrawable, manually operated chassis — you fit a separate electronic or micrologic control unit to set the protection curves.
The 1000 A rating is at 50 °C ambient — if your panel runs hotter, you derate per the manufacturer's curve. Withdrawable mounting means the chassis slides out of its cradle for inspection or swap without disturbing the main bus connections — common in high-availability switchgear where downtime is measured in minutes.
Current-production item — no end-of-life notice on record. The ComPacT NS new generation line is Schneider's active platform for 630–1600 A frames.
Mounts on a backplate (not DIN rail) — the 306 mm width, 260 mm height, and 147 mm depth require a dedicated cutout in the switchboard. Connection pitch is 70 mm between pole centers. The frame is IP40 (finger-safe) and IK07 (impact-resistant), so it can sit behind a locked door without additional shrouding.
