What the 1000 A AC-23A rating means for your line
AC-23A per IEC 60947-3 covers switching of motor loads and other highly inductive circuits, so this 1000 A figure is the current it can make and break under those conditions, not just carry.
Withdrawable frame — panel integration note
The drawout (withdrawable) mounting means the switching element can be racked out for maintenance or replacement without disturbing the fixed connections. Front connections top and bottom, 70 mm connection pitch. Panel cutout and busbar spacing need to accommodate the 327 mm width and 210 mm height; depth is 147 mm behind the panel face. IP40 enclosure protection, IK07 impact resistance — fine for indoor switchgear, not for washdown.
Withstand and isolation capability
Rated short-time withstand current (Icw) is 25 kA for 0.5 s, with a short-circuit making capacity (Icm) of 52 kA at 690 V. That tells you the frame can survive a fault long enough for an upstream breaker to clear, and it can close onto a bolted fault without welding contacts. The unit is suitability-for-isolation marked per IEC 60947-3, so it qualifies as a visible-break disconnect for lockout/tagout. Rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) is 8 kV, pollution degree 3.
