The TM-D provides L (thermal overload) and I (magnetic short-circuit) protection in one block, with a fixed magnetic trip threshold suited for distribution circuits rather than motor starting. Rated 16 A at 50 °C, it delivers 25 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC and 40 kA at 220/240 V AC per IEC 60947-2, which covers the interrupting capacity needed for most commercial and light-industrial panelboards.
For a 16 A feeder, 25 kA Icu at 415 V gives solid headroom above typical utility fault levels in European and Asian distribution networks. The breaker is utilisation category A — not intended for current-limiting cascading with downstream breakers, so selectivity studies should treat it as a standalone device.
The 140 mm width, 161 mm height, and 86 mm depth fit the standard NSX100B cutout. IP40 front face (IK07 impact rating) suits enclosed panel installation; not rated for washdown environments.
Electrical durability and isolation
Rated for 50,000 mechanical cycles and 30,000 electrical cycles at 440 V In (full rated current). At half load (In/2) that rises to 50,000 cycles.
