It is a 4-pole device (4P) with a breaking capacity of 25 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC 50/60 Hz per IEC 60947-2 — that is the fault current it can safely interrupt at typical three-phase distribution voltages without welding contacts or venting plasma. For higher fault levels, the NSX family offers S (36 kA) and H (50 kA) variants, but for a typical 415 V line feeding motor control centers or lighting panels, the B rating covers the majority of installations.
The toggle control and front-facing connections (upside and downside) simplify wiring in a distribution board. IP40 front face keeps tools and fingers out; IK07 impact resistance handles incidental knocks during commissioning.
