The C10H4TM016 is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX100H moulded-case circuit breaker, 4-pole, rated 16 A at 40 °C with a fixed thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit. The TM-D provides overload (thermal) and short-circuit (magnetic) protection — L and I curves — without electronic adjustment, which makes it a straight drop-in for distribution panels where the load profile is stable and you don't need the flexibility of a Micrologic trip unit. Breaking capacity is the headline: 100 kA Icu at 240 V AC, 70 kA at 415 V, 65 kA at 440 V, and 35 kA at 690 V — all per IEC 60947-2. For a site electrical engineer building a selective coordination study, the 100 kA Icu at 240 V gives headroom for high-fault locations close to the transformer secondary. The utilisation category is A, so it's not intended for frequent switching of motor loads — this is a distribution breaker, not a motor-circuit protector.
The neutral is on the left, and the 4-pole configuration protects all four poles with a neutral protection setting of 1 × Ir (4D) — full rated neutral, not reduced. IP40 enclosure protection (finger-safe) and IK07 impact resistance.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-2. Overvoltage category III, suitable for fixed-installation distribution. The standard range is ComPacT, product name ComPacT NSX. The manufacturer provides RoHS and REACH compliance documentation as part of the standard technical file; specific declarations are available on request.
