Panel-builder commissioning notes
The 100 kA Icu at 240 V AC (70 kA at 415 V AC, 65 kA at 440 V AC) means it handles high fault currents typical in distribution panels without cascading upstream — you can place it closer to the transformer without a current-limiting fuse ahead of it. The TM-D trip gives you thermal overload (L) and magnetic short-circuit (I) protection, no ground-fault module. At 40 A and 40 °C ambient, it's sized for a 40 A feeder or a motor branch circuit with proper coordination study. Front connections top and bottom, neutral on the left. IK07 impact rating handles accidental tool drops during commissioning. Electrical durability is 50,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, 30,000 at full rated current — enough for frequent switching in a distribution role but not for a motor-starting duty where you'd want a contactor ahead of it. Mechanical durability matches at 50,000 cycles.
