Overview
The C10N6TM032 is a Schneider ComPacT NSX molded case circuit breaker with a 32 A TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit, rated for 90 kA breaking capacity at 690 V AC, in a 4-pole fixed-mount package. It provides L (overload) and I (short-circuit) protection per IEC 60947-2, with a 50 kA electrical endurance at 440 V In/2 and a mechanical life of 50,000 cycles.
Selection and sizing
The 32 A TM-D trip unit is set for distribution duty at 40 °C ambient; the 90 kA IC at 690 V AC gives headroom for high-fault panels without needing a current-limiting upstream device. The 4-pole configuration with neutral on the left suits 3-phase + N distribution boards; the fixed mount and front connection simplify panel layout.
How it compares
Compared to the C10F3TM025 (3-pole, 25 A, 85 kA IC), the C10N6TM032 adds a fourth pole and a higher 32 A rating with 90 kA IC, making it the choice for 4-wire distribution where the C10F3TM025 is limited to 3-pole loads.
