The TM-D trip gives you thermal overload protection (L) and magnetic short-circuit protection (I), no ground-fault module on this variant. It sits on a backplate mount, takes front-front connections (both line and load from the front), and is rated IP40 with IK07 impact resistance — fine for a dry indoor panel, not for a washdown zone. The 4-pole configuration with neutral on the left and no neutral protection setting (3D) means it switches all four poles but does not trip on a neutral overload; that is typical for a 3-phase + N distribution breaker where the neutral is sized for the phase current.
Breaking capacity — the number that decides fit
This breaker carries the N breaking capacity code: 50 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC and 440 V AC, 36 kA at 500 V, and 35 kA at 525 V. Under UL 60947-4-1 it is rated 50 kA at 480 V AC. For a 415 V panel with a 40 kA SCCR requirement, this breaker holds headroom.
Mounting and integration notes
Mounts flat on a backplate in any orientation (horizontal or vertical). The 140 mm width and 161 mm height fit the standard NSX100N cutout; depth is 86 mm plus connection clearance. Connection pitch is 35 mm — standard for busbar or cable lug landing. The toggle handle gives local manual control; no motor operator or rotary handle is included on this base variant.
Built to EN/IEC 60947-2, with suitability for isolation per that standard. The IP40 and IK07 ratings cover the enclosure protection and impact resistance for a standard panel environment. No earth-leakage protection on this variant — if you need that, you step up to the Vigi or Micrologic with ground-fault module.
