What this ComPacT NSX brings to the panel
The C10R32M025 is a 3-pole ComPacT NSX100R frame MCCB rated 25 A, built around the MicroLogic 2.2 M electronic trip unit. It's specified for motor protection — the trip unit offers L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), and I (instantaneous short-circuit) protection curves, with motor tripping classes 5, 10, and 20 selectable. That means it's tuned for the inrush and thermal characteristics of a motor load, not just a distribution feeder. At 690 V it still breaks 45 kA. The part is rated per EN/IEC 60947-2, utilization category A (no intentional short-time delay for selectivity).
Motor protection detail — the trip unit matters
The MicroLogic 2.2 M is an electronic trip unit, not a thermal-magnetic. Motor tripping classes 5, 10, and 20 are selectable; class 20 is the default for standard induction motors, class 10 for faster protection on submersible or high-torque loads.
Fit and mounting — panel-side notes
Mounts on a backplate — no DIN rail here. Connection pitch is 35 mm, with both upside and downside front connections. Pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution, typical for industrial enclosures), overvoltage category III. IP40 front face, IK07 impact resistance — it's sealed against tools and fingers but not washdown. Horizontal or vertical mounting, flat on the back. Five accessory slots on the breaker. The local signalling includes a green flashing LED for ready-to-operate and a red LED at 95 % Ith for temperature over set point. No earth-leakage protection integrated — that's handled by separate Vigi add-on modules if needed.
