What the 200 kA Icu rating means for your motor branch circuit
The C10R32M100 is a 3-pole ComPacT NSX moulded-case circuit breaker rated 100 A at 65 °C, fitted with a MicroLogic 2.2 M electronic trip unit dedicated to motor protection. The MicroLogic 2.2 M provides L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), and I (instantaneous short-circuit) protection curves, with selectable motor tripping classes 5, 10, or 20. Class 10 is the standard for general-purpose motor starting; class 20 accommodates high-inertia loads like fans or centrifuges where the start current decays slowly.
Compliance documentation covers EN/IEC 60947-2 for the breaker standard. The unit carries IP40 finger protection on the front face (IK07 impact resistance per IEC 62262), suitable for enclosure mounting where incidental contact is possible but washdown is not required.
Panel integration and mounting constraints
Five accessory slots are available for auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, or undervoltage releases — plan for at least one slot if you need remote tripping indication. Relative humidity range is 0–95 % non-condensing.
