It carries a 16 A thermal-magnetic trip unit (TM-D) at 40 °C, four poles (4P), and a 36 kA interrupting rating at 415 V AC — that is the F performance level. It is designed for distribution duty under EN/IEC 60947-2 and is suitable for isolation per that standard.
The thermal-magnetic trip gives instantaneous magnetic response on short-circuit and a thermal delay for overloads — standard for feeder and branch-circuit protection. If the panel ambient runs hotter, derate per the manufacturer's curve — typical rule of thumb is about 1 % per °C above 40 °C, but the exact table is in the product data sheet.
Mounts on a backplate (not DIN rail) in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or flat on the back. The 4-pole unit is 108 mm wide (12 module pitches of 9 mm), 137 mm tall, 80 mm deep. Connection is front-facing on both line and load sides, using compression lugs or busbars. Neutral is on the left. The grey RAL 7016 housing is standard for the ComPacT NSXm range.
