It is a Category A breaker (no intentional short-time delay), so it trips instantaneously on short-circuit; coordination with downstream devices follows the standard IEC 60947-2 rules. If your panel runs hotter, expect derating — the thermal-magnetic element responds to ambient temperature. The 4-pole version (4P) switches all four poles, with the neutral on the left.
Mounting and integration into a backplate panel
Mounts on a backplate — not a DIN rail — so plan for screw-fixing or busbar mounting. The 108 mm width (12 x 9 mm pitches) and 137 mm height fit standard ComPacT NSXm cutouts. Connection is front-facing on both line and load sides, accepting compression lugs or busbars. Connection pitch is 35 mm with spreaders, 27 mm without. Mounting position is flexible — horizontal, vertical, or flat on the back — which helps when laying out a dense panel. The toggle control and green flag indicator for auxiliary contacts give clear local status without opening the door.
