The TM-D trip unit is thermal-magnetic: the thermal bimetal protects against sustained overloads, the magnetic coil handles short-circuits. No earth-leakage protection built in — if you need that, add a separate Vigi module or an RCBO upstream. Mount it inside an enclosure rated for the environment — it is not a standalone outdoor device.
Mounts on a backplate (not DIN rail) in horizontal or vertical orientation, flat against the panel. The 108 mm width occupies 12 module pitches of 9 mm. Terminals are front-facing Everlink lugs accepting 2.5–95 mm² rigid aluminium/copper or 2.5–70 mm² flexible copper — sized for the full 63 A run without derating the lug.
