The thermal-magnetic trip gives instantaneous magnetic protection on short-circuit and a thermal delay for overloads, so it handles motor inrush and feeder starts without nuisance tripping.
If it's 85 kA, you need the S or L performance level instead. The TM-D trip unit is a fixed thermal-magnetic curve — no interchangeable rating plugs, no electronic adjustment. That keeps the part simple and reliable for fixed-load feeders, but if you need adjustable long-time or short-time pickup, you'd step up to the ComPacT NSX with an Micrologic electronic trip. Everlink terminals accept 2.5 to 95 mm² rigid copper or 2.5 to 70 mm² flexible — covers standard feeder cable sizes up to 4/0 AWG. Front-connect top and bottom makes it panel-friendly for busbar or cable entry.
Mounts on a backplate in any orientation — horizontal, vertical, or flat on the back. The 108 mm width (12 module pitches at 9 mm) fits standard DIN-rail enclosures and panel cutouts. IP40 front face and IK07 impact rating mean it's protected against tool drops and finger probes in a closed panel. Flag indicator (green) shows auxiliary contact presence — useful for remote status without opening the door. Neutral on the left, 80 mm deep.
