Panel fit and interrupting duty
The C25B3TM160C is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX250B frame thermal-magnetic circuit breaker, 3-pole, rated 160 A at 50 °C. It breaks 25 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC and 40 kA at 220/240 V AC per IEC 60947-2. That 25 kA at 415 V is the number that governs panel SCCR coordination in most 400 V distribution — the 40 kA figure at 240 V is a bonus for dual-voltage installs. IP40 front, IK07 impact rating — fine for enclosed distribution boards but not for washdown zones. Toggle control, front connections both sides.
TM-D trip unit: thermal for overload (L), magnetic for short-circuit (I). No earth-leakage module built in. Rated 160 A continuous, but that's at 50 °C — if your enclosure runs hotter, the thermal element derates earlier than the magnetic pickup. The 11.78 W per pole dissipation adds up to about 35 W total at full load; factor that into your enclosure thermal budget. Overvoltage category III, pollution degree 3. 20,000 mechanical cycles, 10,000 at rated current.
