Integrator note — EZS100E3100
It delivers 50 kA Icu at 240 V AC and 25 kA Icu at 400 V AC per IEC 60947-2, so it handles high-fault distribution panels without cascading upstream — typical for commercial or light industrial switchboards where the available fault current sits in that range.
Breaking capacity and trip curve
The 50 kA Icu at 240 V AC is the headline number, but the 25 kA at 400 V AC is what governs on a 400 V three-phase panel — that rating still covers most commercial distribution transformers. The TM-D trip is fixed long-time at 1 In and provides magnetic short-circuit protection; the integral instantaneous protection is rated 1000 kA, which is the short-circuit making capacity of the breaker itself, not a setting you adjust.
Dimensions are 130 mm high × 75 mm wide × 60 mm deep; the 25 mm pole pitch matches standard busbar spacing. IP40 front panel protection is fine for indoor switchgear but not washdown areas. Pollution degree 3 (IEC 60947-1) means it tolerates conductive dust in factory environments.
