The GS2JG3 is a TeSys GS switch-disconnector-fuse — a three-pole, 100 A rated unit built to IEC 60947-3. It's the part you spec when you need a manual disconnect with integral fuse protection on a motor branch or distribution feeder. The 100 A rating at 400 V AC-23B (800 A breaking capacity) covers moderate motor loads up to 51 kW at 400 V, and it can handle up to 90 kW at 690 V where the duty cycle allows. It accepts 22 x 58 mm NFC fuses across three protected poles, with a short-circuit withstand of 20 kA and a making capacity of 1000 A at 400 V AC-23B. The external left-side handle gives a visible break confirmation — useful for lockout/tagout on a panel door.
The 20 kA short-circuit withstand assumes the upstream protection is coordinated — typically a gG fuse or matching MCCB. Mounts on a plate (not DIN rail), so plan for a drilled backplate and the 162 mm height × 148 mm width footprint. The 116 mm depth includes the handle throw — account for door clearance when the handle is in the OFF position.
