As a fanless modular box PC, the HMIBMOMA5DDF10L runs Windows-based HMI and SCADA runtime applications without active cooling, suiting it for dusty or vibration-prone cabinet environments. The 4 GB DDR3 RAM is soldered and not expandable — this fixes the application memory ceiling at the time of purchase. One mini PCIe full-size slot (without optional interface plate) handles expansion for fieldbus or additional serial interfaces. The single M.2 SSD slot accepts a SATA drive via adapter HMIYBADHDDBMO1 for OS and application storage. Display output supports up to 3200 x 2000 pixels at 60 Hz over the integrated graphics. The unit includes a watchdog timer configurable from 1 to 255 ms, a secure password boot via UEFI, and a conformal-coated enclosure for environmental protection. Electrical connections use a screw-type ground terminal and SMA connector on the top. The ON/OFF button provides local power control; the package includes Node-RED and system nodes restore, but cyber security licenses and EcoStruxure runtime licenses are not included.
Applications
Harmony iPC modular box PCs of this class are deployed as edge controllers and HMI platforms in packaging lines, material handling systems, water treatment skids, and discrete manufacturing cells. The fanless design and wide certification set (CE, CULus, ATEX, IECEx, CCC, RCM, EAC) allow installation in ordinary and hazardous locations with the additional adaptor HMIYMMAC1.
