The Schneider Electric LC2K16107R7 is a TeSys K reversing contactor, 3-pole, rated 16 A in AC-3 utilisation category at ≤440 V with a 440 V AC coil. It comes preassembled with the reversing power busbar, so you don't have to wire the mechanical and electrical interlock yourself — it's a drop-in reversing starter for a three-phase motor up to that current. That's the number that governs real motor control applications — not the AC-1 resistive rating.
Mechanical and environmental robustness
Rated for 10 Gn shock on Y and Z axes (contactor closed) and 15 Gn on Y and Z (contactor opened), per IEC 60068-2-27. Vibration resistance is 4 Gn closed, 2 Gn opened across 5–300 Hz. That's enough for most industrial machinery and mobile equipment applications, including conveyors, pumps, and compressors mounted on a machine frame. Protective treatment conforms to IEC 60068 and DIN 50016 for corrosion resistance — relevant for humid or mildly aggressive atmospheres in food-and-bev or wastewater plants.
