The Schneider Electric LC2K16107V7 is a TeSys K reversing contactor — three-pole, rated AC-3 at ≤440 V for 16 A, with a 400 V AC coil and one normally open auxiliary contact. It comes preassembled with the reversing power busbar, so it's ready to wire into a motor-reversing circuit without extra busbar work. The IP20 finger-safe enclosure (VDE 0106) suits panel-mount installations where personnel access is controlled.
The AC-3 rating at 16 A is the motor-switching duty — that's the figure that governs real use, not a resistive-heater rating. At 690 V AC the contactor can break the circuit, but the motor current limit stays at the AC-3 curve. The 400 V AC coil means it pulls in on a standard 400 V line-to-line control supply; verify your control transformer matches that voltage. The IP20 enclosure is fine inside a panel but offers no washdown protection.
The preassembled busbar saves one wiring step but fixes the pole arrangement; you cannot reconfigure it for non-reversing use.
Flame retardance meets V1 per UL 94 and also complies with NF F 16-101 and NF F 16-102. The protective treatment conforms to IEC 60068 and DIN 50016. Shock and vibration ratings per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6 are specified for both closed and open contactor states, which matters for rail or mobile equipment applications.
