What this reversing contactor is
The LC2K1610E72 is a TeSys K reversing contactor from Schneider Electric — a 3-pole unit rated for AC-3 duty at 16 A up to 440 V, with a 48 V AC coil. It comes preassembled with the reversing power busbar, so you're not hunting for the interlock kit or bus links when you build a motor-reversing circuit.
The 48 V AC coil is a specific control voltage — common in older panel designs or sites with a separate control transformer. Verify your control circuit matches before you wire it in; the coil won't pull in reliably on 24 V or 120 V. The 57 mm depth and 90 mm width fit standard DIN-rail enclosures; the 58 mm height leaves room above for a terminal block or overload relay. Storage range of -50 to 80 °C matters if the spare sits in an unheated warehouse.
It's part of the TeSys K family, which is Schneider's compact contactor range for motor control up to about 20 A. The preassembled reversing busbar is a time-saver on the panel bench — that's one less subassembly to order and one less wiring step.
