The Schneider VW3A4604 is a passive filter designed to reduce current harmonics on Altivar variable-speed drives. It's rated 26 A continuous at 400 V +/- 10 %, three-phase, 50 Hz. The THDI performance depends on the drive model: 10 % for ATV61WD15N4 and ATV61WD15N4C motors (15 kW/20 hp), and 16 % for ATV61HD15N4, ATV71HD15N4, and ATV71WD15N4 motors (15 kW/20 hp).
Mounts inside the drive cabinet — IP20, so no washdown rating. Terminal connection accepts up to 16 mm² wire. One filter per drive for the listed Altivar models. Operating temperature range is 5...40 °C without derating; above that, derate 3 % per °C up to 55 °C. Altitude derating kicks in above 1000 m at 5 % per 1000 m.
Efficiency is 98 %. Power factor (cos phi) varies with load: 1 at 150 % line current, 0.99 at 100 %, 0.85 at 75 %. Class F insulation. Storage temperature -25...55 °C; relative humidity 5...85 % non-condensing.
