The Schneider Electric VW3A46099A is a passive filter sized for a single ATV610 variable speed drive — one filter per drive, matched to a 2.2 kW / 3 hp motor load. It knocks line-side harmonic distortion down to 10 % THDI at rated conditions, which keeps the drive from throwing excess harmonics back onto the plant 400 V three-phase supply. Rated at 3.4 A continuous, 400 V ±10 %, 50 Hz. Efficiency runs 98 %, so the heat you have to vent is minimal — a 2 % loss at 3.4 A is roughly 27 W. That means you can tuck this into a standard IP20 enclosure without worrying about forced cooling in most panel layouts.
Dual-certified to UL 61800-5-1 and IEC 61800-5-1, so it passes both North American and international adjustable-speed drive safety standards. That covers the power-converter side of the installation — the filter is treated as part of the drive assembly for the SCCR and clearance requirements.
IP20 rated — intended for enclosure mounting where the panel door keeps fingers and dust out. Operating ambient range is -25 to 45 °C without current derating; storage from -25 to 85 °C in the original packaging. No derating gymnastics needed for a standard 40 °C panel interior.
