The Schneider Electric VW3A46102A is a passive filter for the Easy Altivar 610 variable speed drive, sized for a 5.5 kW / 7.5 hp motor on a 380–480 V three-phase supply. It bolts between the drive and the line — one filter per drive, no sharing. The headline number here is the THDI: 10 % at rated load, which means it knocks the input current distortion down to a level that keeps harmonics off the shared bus. That matters when the drive shares a transformer with other loads or when the plant has a THD cap from the utility.
The filter is rated 8.1 A input / 12.5 A output — the output side carries the motor current, the input side sees the line current after filtering. Supply voltage is 380...480 V -10...10 %, and the frequency is locked to 50 Hz +/- 2 %. If the plant runs 60 Hz, this is the wrong filter. Operating temperature range is -25...45 °C without derating; above that, the thermal curve applies. The electrical connection uses, L2, L3, ', L2', L3' terminals (0.5...6 mm²) plus D and TS terminals for the DC bus and thermal sensor — the 1.5 mm² and 0.5...4 mm² capacities tell you the gauge for those auxiliary circuits. Insulation class N means it's double-insulated; no earth connection required on the filter body.
