The Schneider VW3A5205 is a sinus output filter rated 95 A continuous, designed to sit between an Altivar variable-speed drive and the motor. It converts the PWM waveform into a near-sinusoidal voltage, which reduces motor heating, eliminates reflected-wave stress on long cable runs, and cuts audible noise from the motor laminations.
