It's built for control-circuit switching inside a panel, not motor starting; the 10 A AC-12 rating covers resistive and solid-state loads typical of PLC outputs, relay coils, and signal lamps.
Mounts on DIN rail via the integrated clip (screw and snap-on mounting) or direct screw-fix to a backplate. The 45 mm width and 57.5 mm height fit the S00 footprint — three units side-by-side eat 135 mm of rail, leaving room for a motor starter or overload relay in the same row. Accepts solid conductors up to 4 mm² per terminal; the dual-wire entry handles two 0.5–1.5 mm² or two 0.75–2.5 mm² in parallel, handy for daisy-chaining control voltage. That covers most panel layouts without forcing a special bracket.
Environment and endurance
Mechanical endurance is 30 million operations — that's the contactor itself, not the contacts under load, but it gives a sense of the mechanism's life. Front protection is IP20 — finger-safe from the front but not sealed; keep it inside an enclosure rated for the environment. Maximum operating altitude 2 000 m without derating.
