SIRIUS S6 contactor for motor and resistive loads
The 3RT1056-6AV36: It uses screw fixing to the mounting surface and accepts main circuit conductors from 25 mm² up to 120 mm² stranded. Arcing time is specified at 10-15 ms.
Switching frequency and duty cycle limits
Maximum switching frequency depends on the duty class: 800 operations per hour in AC-1 (resistive), 750/h in AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor starting), and 130/h in AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3e rating also allows 750/h. These limits reflect the thermal recovery time of the contactor between operations — exceeding them risks contact welding or accelerated wear.
Mounting flexibility and environmental range
The S6 frame measures 172 mm high, 120 mm wide, and 170 mm deep, with a single 9 mm diameter mounting hole.
Auxiliary contact ratings and control wiring
An auxiliary switch is included. These are the make/break capacities for the auxiliary contacts, not the main poles. The magnet coil uses screw-type terminals.
This contactor is sourced through independent distribution channels. No stock-holding claim is made; each order is quoted individually.
