Duty Ratings and Switching Frequency
This contactor is rated for multiple duty classes, each with a maximum switching frequency. In AC-1 (resistive) duty it can handle up to 800 operations per hour; in AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor starting) it's rated at 750 operations per hour; in the tougher AC-4 (plugging/reversing/inching) duty it drops to 130 operations per hour. For DC switching, DC-1 allows 400 ops/h, while DC-3 and DC-5 both allow 350 ops/h.
Auxiliary Contact DC Breaking Capacity
The auxiliary switch on this contactor has documented DC breaking capacities at several control voltages: 6 A at 24 V DC, 2 A at 48 V DC, 2 A at 60 V DC, 1 A at 110 V DC, and 0.9 A at 125 V DC. If you are using the auxiliary contact to switch a DC pilot load or a PLC input, stay within these limits — a 24 V DC load up to 6 A is fine, but at 110 V DC the same contact is only rated for 1 A.
Mounting, Wiring, and Clearances
The contactor is fastened by screw fixing through a single 9 mm diameter hole. Mounting position is flexible: it can be mounted on a vertical surface with ±90° rotation, and tilted ±22.5° forward or backward. Dimensions are 172 mm high, 120 mm wide, and 170 mm deep. The terminal blocks accept solid or stranded wire: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or up to 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). That covers most panel wiring sizes — if you are landing 4 mm² conductors, you can double them up per terminal.
