SIRIUS Size S10 Power Contactor, 42-48 V Coil
It's a current-production part — still a standard catalog item, not a phase-out line. The coil uses spring-type terminals, while the main power circuit accepts stranded cable from 70 to 240 mm², so it's sized for heavy motor or resistive loads in a panel.
Fastening is by screw fixing — four M6 bolts through 11 mm holes. Mount on a vertical surface, rotatable ±90° and tiltable ±22.5° front-to-back.
Switching Performance and Duty Ratings
Operate time is 40-80 ms on both AC and DC; arcing time runs 10-15 ms. The mechanical life is a typical 10,000,000 operations — that's a decade-plus in most cycling applications. Duty-cycle limits: 800 operations/hour at AC-1 (resistive), 500 at AC-3 (squirrel-cage motor starting), 250 at AC-2 (slip-ring motor), and 130 at AC-4 (plugging/inching). The AC-3e rating also sits at 500 ops/hour.
Auxiliary Contacts and Environmental Range
An auxiliary switch is built in — rated 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 48 V, 2 A at 60 V, and 1 A at 110 V. The coil's rated value is 42-48 V with an initial pickup of 0.8 and a full-scale hold of 1.1.
Lifecycle status is current — this is not an NRND or obsolete line. The 3RT1065-2AD36 is a standard SIRIUS catalog item, sourced through independent distribution.
