Panel Fit and Mounting
Size S00 frame: 45 mm wide, 70 mm tall, 73 mm deep. The width is the critical dimension for DIN-rail density — at 45 mm it occupies one standard 45 mm module position on a 35 mm rail per DIN EN 60715. Mounting is dual-mode: screw-fixed or snap-on onto 35 mm standard mounting rail. The mounting position allows +/-180° rotation on a vertical surface and +/-22.5° tilt forward/backward, giving flexibility in tight enclosures. Clearance requirements: 10 mm upward, 10 mm forward, 10 mm downward, 6 mm at the side. These are the minimum air gaps for heat dissipation and arc flash clearance.
Wiring and Terminals
Main contact terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 0.5 to 4 mm² per conductor, or 2x (0.5 to 4 mm²) for paralleled feeds. The coil terminals are spring-type — push-in termination, no screw torque required. The auxiliary switch is factory-fitted (yes), so no separate add-on block is needed for basic signaling or interlocking.
Switching Performance and Duty Cycles
Rated for AC-1 (resistive) duty up to 1,000 operations per hour, AC-2 and AC-3 (motor starting) at 750 ops/h, and AC-4 (plugging/inching) at 250 ops/h. The AC-3e rating matches the AC-3 figure at 750 ops/h. Opening time (at AC) is 7 to 13 ms; arcing time is 10 to 15 ms. These timing windows are relevant for coordination with upstream protective devices and for assessing contact wear in high-cycle applications. Mechanical life of the contactor is typical 30,000,000 operations — a high-cycle rating suited for frequent switching in conveyor or pump control.
Environmental and Storage
Operating temperature range: -25 to +60 °C. Storage range: -55 to +80 °C. This covers most industrial enclosures and unheated warehouses.
