SIRIUS S0 frame, spring-terminated coil
The 3RT2023-2AL20-1AA0: The magnet coil terminates via spring-type terminals, not screw clamps — this eliminates the need for torque checks on the coil circuit and speeds panel wiring. It carries an integrated auxiliary switch block (1 NO + 1 NC configuration typical for the S0 frame), rated for switching at 24 VDC (10 A), 48/60 VDC (2 A), 110 VDC (1 A), 125 VDC (0.9 A), 220 VDC (0.3 A), 400 VAC (3 A), and 440 VDC (0.6 A).
Switching duty and mechanical endurance
Rated for 1,000 switching cycles per hour in AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, and AC-3e duty, and 300 cycles per hour in AC-4 — the heavier arc stress of plugging/inching duty halves the permissible rate. Mechanical life is 10 million operating cycles typical, which for a line running one cycle per minute translates to roughly 19 years of service before the contactor wears out mechanically.
Wire termination and clearance
Mounting position is standing on a horizontal surface; the contactor must not be mounted upside-down or on its side without derating.
