Motor protection circuit breaker for the 0.32 A motor line
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV2011-0DA25-ZX95 is a motor protection circuit breaker in the S00 frame, sized for a 0.32 A operational current with a CLASS 10 overload trip curve. The instantaneous short-circuit release is fixed at 4.2 A. Breaking capacity is a flat 100 kA across the entire voltage range from 240 V to 690 V AC — that covers virtually any industrial fault level you'll encounter in a 400 V or 480 V distribution panel without needing upstream current-limiting fuses. Termination is spring-type (cage clamp), accepting 2× (0.5 to 4 mm²) solid or stranded, which speeds panel wiring and eliminates screw-torque checks. The unit ships with a factory-fitted transverse auxiliary switch block providing 1 NO + 1 NC contact for remote status feedback.

Panel integration — S00 footprint, DIN rail, spring terminals
The S00 frame snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715. Mounting position is any orientation, which simplifies layout in crowded enclosures. The spring terminals accept 0.5–4 mm² conductors — no ferrule needed for stranded, but a 3 mm screwdriver shaft is specified for the release mechanism. Side-by-side mounting requires 30 mm clearance to adjacent devices on each side for thermal derating — zero clearance is allowed only with side-by-side mounting of identical S00 breakers. The unit dissipates 5.5 W at rated load in hot operating state.
How this compares to the screw-terminal sibling 3RV2011-0BA20
The closest functional peer is the 3RV2011-0BA20, which shares the same S00 frame, CLASS 10 trip, 100 kA breaking capacity, and 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary configuration. The critical difference: the 3RV2011-0BA20 uses screw-type terminals and is rated at 0.2 A (adjustable 0.14–0.2 A), while the 3RV2011-0DA25-ZX95 uses spring-type terminals and is rated at 0.32 A (adjustable 0.22–0.32 A). If your BOM specifies the 0.2 A screw-terminal variant, the 0.32 A spring-terminal unit will not drop in without rewiring and re-setting the overload range — the terminal style and current range are different.
