What this soft starter covers — motor FLA and voltage range

The 3RW5235-6TC05: Trip Class is selectable between CLASS 10A (default), 10E, and 20E per IEC 60947-4-2. For a motor with a 60-second locked-rotor withstand, CLASS 10A clears before the rotor heats past the insulation class; CLASS 20E gives more headroom on high-inertia loads like centrifuges or crushers.

Fieldbus and control — what's onboard

This soft starter ships with PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET standard communication. No separate gateway module needed for most PLC networks — it talks directly to a S7-1500 or CompactLogix over the same cable. PROFIenergy is supported when used with the PROFINET communication module. That lets the controller put the soft starter into a low-power state during production pauses without cycling the main contactor. Control supply voltage is 24 V DC. Remote reset is possible by cycling the control supply off and on.
