The 3RW5514-1HA14: Rated operational voltage spans 200 to 480 V, covering standard low-voltage motor ratings across 50/60 Hz systems. Trip class is configurable as CLASS 10A / 10E (default) / 20E / 30E per IEC 60947-4-2, allowing the protection curve to match the motor thermal capacity and starting duty.
ATEX and IECEx certification for hazardous areas
Listed with ATEX and IECEx certification, this soft starter is approved for installation in explosive atmospheres where motor starting must not become an ignition source.
Fieldbus and control flexibility
Supports PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and EtherNet/IP, so it integrates into most automation architectures without a separate gateway. Analog output is configurable as 4-20 mA or 0-10 V, giving the PLC a direct process signal for current or torque monitoring.
Starting and stopping features for pump and conveyor duty
Voltage ramp, pump ramp down, and breakaway pulse are built in, so the same unit handles soft start, controlled deceleration on pumps, and high-breakaway-torque starts on conveyors. DC braking and motor heating functions are included for applications that need quick stops or anti-condensation heating during idle periods.
Panel fit and wiring
Dimensions are 152 mm depth, 170 mm width, and 275 mm height, with 100 mm clearance required above and 75 mm below for ventilation. Solid wire terminals accept 2x (1.0-2.5 mm²) and 2x (2.5-10 mm²) conductors, covering both control and power wiring in a single terminal block.
