AS-i connection and wiring
Electrical connection is via the AS-i insulation displacement method — the flat cable pierces into the switch body, no separate T-piece or M12 drop cable required. This keeps the wiring count low on a long AS-i segment and simplifies panel layout when the switch is mounted directly on a machine frame rather than inside a control cabinet. The switch carries one NC auxiliary contact and no NO contacts.
