Siemens SENTRON 3VA1010-2ED42-0AD0 — 4-Pole MCCB with TM210 Release
The Siemens 3VA1010-2ED42-0AD0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) configured for line protection. It carries a 4-pole design with no undervoltage release, no trip indicator, and no communication function — a straightforward thermal-magnetic breaker for conventional distribution panels. The overcurrent release is the TM210 type, a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Rated continuous current holds at 100 A up to 50 °C ambient, then derates to 98 A at 55 °C, 96 A at 60 °C, 94 A at 65 °C, and 91 A at 70 °C — useful when the breaker sits inside a warm enclosure without forced cooling. Breaking capacity is specified at several voltages: 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 500 V and 690 V. The rated insulation voltage is 800 V, and maximum power loss is 25 W. The breaker mounts in standard panel or enclosure backplates — dimensions are 101.6 mm wide, 130 mm tall, and 70 mm deep. It accommodates up to three auxiliary switches of the HQ type (ordered separately).
