The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1080-3ED32-0BC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 80 A continuous current (Iu) and designed for line protection in distribution panels and motor control centers. Breaking capacity is 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V — the 415 V figure is the one most commonly checked for European 400 V distribution.
The 80 A rating holds at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C — no derating needed in a typical 40 °C panel. Above that, current must be reduced: 76.8 A at 55 °C, 75.2 A at 60 °C, 73.6 A at 65 °C, and 72 A at 70 °C. Operating ambient range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C.
