Interrupting capacity is 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 79 kA at 500 V, and 4.25 kA at 690 V. That 187 kA figure at 240 V is the headline — it clears high-fault scenarios on the secondary side of a 480 V–208Y/120 V transformer or a 240 V delta service without upstream fuses needing to coordinate. Thermal derating is published from 40 °C through 70 °C: it holds 100 A up to 50 °C, then drops to 96.25 A at 55 °C, 92.5 A at 60 °C, 88.75 A at 65 °C, and 85 A at 70 °C.
Trip unit and auxiliary contact configuration
The ETU550 is an electronic trip unit with communication function, meaning it can interface with a higher-level monitoring system for power data and trip event logging. It is not a basic thermal-magnetic — it gives you adjustable long-time, short-time, instantaneous, and ground-fault pickup settings, though ground-fault monitoring is not fitted on this variant. That gives three separate signal paths: two for status (open/closed) and one dedicated to trip indication. No undervoltage release and no voltage trigger are included on this order code.
