Breaking capacity and voltage levels
This breaker delivers 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at both 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V. The steep drop at 690 V tells you this is a 500 V-class frame — fine for 400/480 V distribution, but if your system runs 690 V with high fault current, you need a different frame.
No derating needed if your panel runs hot — that is unusual for a compact MCCB and simplifies panel layout when the breaker sits next to heat sources like drives or transformers.
Communication and integration
This variant has a communication function onboard, so it can talk to a higher-level control system via the SENTRON communication modules — useful for remote trip indication, load monitoring, and energy management without adding a separate power meter.
