125 A, 25 kA @ 480 V — fixed-trip TM210
The Siemens 3VA4112-4ED34-3AA0 is a UL Frame 125 molded-case circuit breaker rated for 125 A continuous current with a 25 kA interrupting capacity at 480 V (class S). The TM210 thermal-magnetic trip unit is factory-set: overload protection Ir is permanently fixed at 125 A, and the instantaneous short-circuit pickup Ii is fixed at 10× In (1250 A). That means the breaker is non-adjustable in the field — what you order is the trip curve you get, which simplifies BOM consistency but requires the load to be exactly 125 A or lower.
Panel integration and coordination
The 3-pole, 3VA4 frame mounts in standard Siemens panelboard or switchboard distribution sections. The fixed Ir and Ii settings simplify coordination studies — no adjustment range to account for, so selectivity with downstream breakers is deterministic.
