4-pole 100 A MCCB with voltage-graded interrupting ratings
The Siemens SENTRON 3VM1010-2ED42-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous at 40 °C, carrying the TM210 thermal-magnetic release. The interrupting capacity is voltage-dependent: 53 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 14 kA at 440 V, and 8 kA at 500 V. Above 55 °C the current rating begins to step down: 98 A at 55 °C, 96 A at 60 °C, 94 A at 65 °C, 91 A at 70 °C.
The derating curve is shallow — only 2 A lost at 55 °C, 4 A at 60 °C. That means in a moderately ventilated enclosure with ambient around 50 °C you still get the full rating. The 70 mm depth and 101.6 mm width fit standard MCCB mounting footprints; the 130 mm height is typical for a 4-pole frame.
