Siemens 3VM1032-3ED32-0AA0 — 32 A SENTRON MCCB with TM210 trip unit
The Siemens 3VM1032-3ED32-0AA0 is a 3-pole SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, carrying a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release and a continuous current of 32 A at 40 °C ambient. Its interrupting capacity tracks the system voltage: 76 kA at 240 V AC, 53 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 8 kA at 500 V — giving the panel designer clear SCCR headroom for common distribution voltages without oversizing the frame. That keeps the bill-of-material simple for a dedicated feeder or branch circuit where the load current is known and stable.
Panel fit and thermal derating
The breaker occupies a 76.2 mm wide by 130 mm tall footprint with a 70 mm depth — a standard 3-pole MCCB envelope that drops into most SENTRON panelboards and distribution blocks without re-spacing the DIN rail or busbar stack. Thermal derating is minimal through the 40–50 °C range (still 32 A), then drops to 31 A at 55–60 °C and 30 A at 65–70 °C. That is a gentle slope — the breaker holds its full rating across typical enclosure ambient temperatures without a frame size bump.
The wider storage window matters for unheated warehouses or job-site containers.
