SENTRON 3VM1032-4ED32-0AA0 — 320 A MCCB for line protection
Interrupting capacity varies with system voltage: 121 kA at 240 V AC, 76 kA at 415 V, 40 kA at 440 V, and 12 kA at 500 V. That spread covers common industrial voltages from low-voltage switchgear to 480 V distribution. Current rating holds at 32 A from 40 °C through 50 °C, then derates to 31 A at 55 °C and 60 °C, and 30 A at 65 °C and 70 °C.
Power loss is 11 W maximum at rated load. In a densely packed panel, that heat must be considered in the thermal budget — it is modest for a 320 A frame but not negligible in a sealed enclosure with multiple breakers. The breaker has no undervoltage release, no trip indicator, no voltage trigger, no communication function, and no ground-fault monitoring. It is a straight thermal-magnetic line-protection device — no auxiliary electronics to fail or configure. If you need remote signaling or undervoltage protection, you will add external accessories or step to a different variant.
