Protection profile and breaking capacity
The Siemens 3VM1032-3ED46-0AA2 is a 4-pole IEC frame 100 circuit breaker rated at 32 A, with a breaking capacity of Icu=25 kA at 415 V (class N). The TM210 thermal-magnetic release provides fixed overload protection at Ir=32 A and a fixed short-circuit pickup of Ii=10 x In (320 A), so it's a straight swap-in for a line-up that doesn't need field-adjustable trip settings.
The neutral conductor is unprotected and uses a terminal connection, so the installer must verify that the system neutral is sized and coordinated separately. The fixed trip settings (Ir=32 A, Ii=320 A) simplify panel documentation — no calibration or adjustment log needed during commissioning.
