What it is and what the ratings mean
The Siemens 5SU1354-6GV10 is a SENTRON RCBO — a combined residual-current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection — in a 2-pole (1P+N) package that occupies 2 modular width units on a DIN rail. The MCB side is B-curve (trips at 3–5× rated current), rated 10 A at 30 °C, and carries a 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and 20 kA per IEC 60947-2 — the higher figure applies when the device is used in an industrial distribution board where the prospective fault current is known to be higher. The RCD side is Type A, sensitive to sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual currents up to 30 mA, which covers the standard shock-protection threshold for personnel in most commercial and light-industrial installations. Thermal derating is published: at 40 °C the continuous rating drops to 9.5 A, at 50 °C to 9 A, and at 70 °C to 8 A — factor this into the panel thermal budget if the RCBO sits in a crowded enclosure.
Panel integration
Snap-on DIN-rail mount, any position. Depth is 77 mm, width 36 mm (2 MW), height 90 mm. Installation depth (behind the panel face) is 70 mm. Supply cord can enter from top or bottom. The housing is halogen-free and silicon-free, and rated IP20 once installed in a distribution board with conductors connected. Overvoltage category III and pollution degree 2 — suitable for fixed-installation distribution panels downstream of the main incomer.
