That's a wide enough clamp to handle a 40 A feed with a 10 mm² conductor and still fit a 35 mm² incoming if the panel design calls for it. Supply can land top or bottom — no polarity worry on an RCCB, but keep the neutral on the N-left side (product variation N left).

70 mm — that's the installed depth including the DIN-rail clip. The panel depth needs at least 70 mm clearance from the rail face to the cover.
Both are 2-pole 40 A 300 mA AC-type RCCBs with similar DIN-rail footprint, but the 5SV4 is instantaneous (no short-time delay) and uses a different housing. The terminal layout and neutral position (N left) are the same, so it should drop in mechanically. Verify the DIN clip alignment — the 5SU9 series has a slightly different latch profile. No rewiring needed if the terminals match.
