It trips on both overcurrent (B curve, 6 A at 30 °C) and earth leakage (Type A, 30 mA), so it protects a single-phase final subcircuit against overload, short-circuit, and indirect contact in one DIN-rail unit. The Type A fault-current detection handles pulsating DC residual currents (e.g. from rectifiers, switched-mode supplies, or washing-machine drives) that a plain Type AC RCD would miss.
The 18 mm width (1 width unit) means it occupies a single slot — useful when panel fill factor is tight. Depth is 77 mm (70 mm installation depth), so it clears most shallow enclosures. IP20 with the distribution board installed and conductors connected — standard for enclosed panel gear. Supply connects from below (line at bottom, load at top per the evidence).
At 40 °C it derates to 5.64 A; at 45 °C to 5.46 A; at 50 °C to 5.22 A; at 55 °C to 5.04 A.
