The 6AG1321-7RD00-4AB0: The NAMUR interface supplies 8.2 V from the internal power circuit to each channel, with a no-load voltage of 10 V max and short-circuit current limited to 14.1 mA. Power output per channel is capped at 33.7 mW, keeping the loop intrinsically safe. Reverse polarity protection is built in. Channel-to-channel isolation is 60 V DC / 30 V AC in the hazardous area and 400 V DC / 250 V AC outside it — allowing mixed wiring with non-Ex circuits in the same panel.
Mounting and integration
The module occupies a 40 mm wide slot on the DIN rail, 125 mm tall and 120 mm deep. It connects to the backplane via the 20-pin front connector and draws up to 80 mA from the 5 V DC bus. Typical power loss is 1.1 W. Diagnostics are readable over the backplane; a red SF group error LED and per-channel red fault indicator flash on short-circuit or wire-break. Green status LEDs confirm channel state.
